Default Feeeman river

Anyone have much success at the freeman river, drove up to the fort Assiniboine area, visibility down to about a foot and level is up, couldn’t cross where I have before so it cut short my time on the water, 5 hours later and just two small grayling, it looks so fishy and yet I seem to struggle to get decent numbers, maybe a bit further upstream ?

Its been high almost all year in all sections including upstream of the whitecourt highway. Would give it some more time to drop. Seems like it almost gets ready to be fishable then gets hit by more rain. Fishing has been very slow/difficult this year. Same goes for the swan river too

Heck of a lot of water in the Freeman River this year. The fish are probably loving it! But it makes for spotty angling. Should be prime in the fall.
