Went for a drive Saturday and spent 3 hours on the freeman river for the first time a few kms upstream of it's confluence with the Athabasca. Water looked good though somewhat tea coloured, nice pools found, zero fish activity. tried drys and nymphs . Any pattern suggestions welcome. Have to keep going further afield in my search for trout apparently.
