Nuge is one of the best 2 way players in the game. Other than that, you are correct.

I'd take Nuge over Leon every day.

Now they're 5 teams out, with a hungry Habs next, tonight Colorado/Vancouver play a 3-pointer? to deepen the misery.

I have been saying that all season on here. Oiler fans should be fed up with the owner and his lack of empathy for letting it get this far. Absolute joke. Now get rid of Mr Hockey Canada and put and NHL guy in there that will take the new GM to task. Another rebuild here we come...

Ottawa is going to be tough to catch but I think you can....... oh, sorry, where you talking about making the playoffs?

Sportsclubstats gives the Oil a 9.3% chance of making it. It's an awkward/weird feeling to want your team to lose (not sure I could do it either), but I think Hughes/Kakko/Podkolzin would be a better goal.

I agree with this also, I am not sold on Leon, sure he's good and putting up numbers but that's beside McDavid. I don't get why everyone is so high on him but that's just me.

That could have ended better...thought for sure Drai was going to end it. Oh well, Bettman point.

Goaltending is a huge problem. You have Talbot in his contract year and he sucks bad when he should be putting on a show to prove himself.

Now Koskinen just signs a 3 year 4.5mill per year contract and he sure isn’t playing like it’s justisified. Hitchcock in today’s post game interview kept saying that he needed to make that save that tied it up.

They suck between the pipes...

What about the fact they have 3 top 6 forwards, 3/4 bottom 6 guys and the rest wouldn’t crack a NHL lineup elsewhere.

How about having to rely on kris Russell to play top pairing minutes as a 5/6 d-man.? Is that fair to him or the team?
Every position is lacking depth and quality, which would explain this train wreck.

I agree. Just don’t understand the rush to sign Koskinen who is unproven and continues to be lacklustre.
