Default Found a good deal?

Thought this would be an interesting thread to create, just to give heads up to other members about a deal you found.

For example, right now in Canadian Tire they have Buck 311 Kingsman knives for only $10. Nothing special about the knife except for the price, really. Seems like a no-brainer to me, so I grabbed a couple for myself.

Also, I am not Buck fan and do not follow their line-ups and whatnot, but this is the first Buck knife I see that was made in China. I only have a few older Bucks that were definitely made in the US. For ten bucks though, this one seems to be fairly well made though

If someone sees Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 or Mobil Delvac 5W-40 diesel oil on sale anywhere at anytime, please shoot me a PM!

Correct. Can be seen in the first image. Wouldn't expect more for $10.

I agree - great knife to do that coarse dirty work you need a knife to do sometimes but don't want to break out your $120 Benchmade on.

Good find;
If it gets you out of a bind once, it has paid for itself. The cheap steel make them easy to sharpen, I have one of this spec in my vehicle strictly for that reason.

What does it matter.
It is $10 of disposable cash and its made in China.
Just like most stuff from China its use it till it breaks or wears out.
Toss it away and go buy another.
If one looses it, then go buy another its only $10 .

But, for $10 you have scored a deal to use and abuse as you see fit.
Bought some open end wrenches the other day at CT they had a yellow sticker on sale for $23.95 when I got to the till they said $49 something as I had a couple other items.
I asked ''Are you sure?'' the gal looked it up and said yes this is the correct price ...
I said, no thank you , thats not the price at the bin.
The short story I went back to the aisle and picked the tag from the bin for $23.95 and went back to the counter, that was last weeks sale price and they honored that sale price.
Thank You CT.

This could be a great thread (maybe even get a sticky) if we keep the editorials out of it and keep posting deals.

Just saw that Stihl has the MS170 on sale rig now for $199. Not a smoking deal, but a pretty good price for an "around the acreage" or quad saw

If you have an old receipt from Cabela's and go do the survey online you get $20 off a purchase of $150 or more, only takes 2 minutes. Not fantastic savings but I got 20 bucks off a set of rings and bases today so I'm happy.

Deck umbrellas are 50% off at Lowes. Got a 10' square rotating offset one for $250 for the back deck. Swings around and you can change the angle of it.

I will be in town the second weekend of July and if I do not use it (doubt I will), someone on here is welcome to have the coupon.
I still have the coupon and if anyone is planning to spend $150 at Cabela's in-store before August 31, it's yours. It's only $20, but it is $20 saved. Good for in-store only though.

Went to walmart today to buy some lithium batteries. The price tag at the stand was the regular $14.whatever for the pack of four. I grabbed two packs for the trail cam and at the cash register they rang through at $8.whatever per pack. I came back and grabbed two more packs (all they had, otherwise I would grab a couple more). So if you are looking, probably worth a try going to your walmart store.

Also, I still have that $20 coupon from cabela's as describe a post or two above if anyone wants it. Never thought it would be that hard to gift a $20 coupon

Cabelas has a massive sale right now. And check the mail for the VIP card that adds 10% off extra for tons of items.
All Cabelas, North Face and Columbia apparel are 40% off!
Firearms 10% off
Ammo 10% off
Dehydrators and Vacuum sealers 40% off. Unreal
sooooo much stuff on sale. I spent a couple hrs in there today. Mostly bought layering stuff, a new wallet, kids clothes, ammo etc.... well worth it as it was stuff we needed anyways

So that $20 coupon might come in handy to someone after all

Also, for whatever reason I did not mention that the batteries in my post above the wildwoods' are Energizer Ultimate Lithium double a.

Got a couple more packs today for 8 something per pack of 4 energizer lithium aa batteries. Almost the price of regular batteries if you buy 4-packs.

Also, someone take the damn 20-dollar coupon

Default Food slicer

Saw Lem commercial food slicer at Sherwood PArk Costco a couple days ago. $400. It looks like they retail for about that price US when I looked online. It's not something they show on the website either so FYI if anyone's in the market.

Wish I was close to stop by and take a look. I have one from ArcTeryx and it is great. I always have it in my pack during hunting season.

Anyone saw if Costco put out their merino tops yet?
