Shipping anything is ridiculous right now... I know it is not comparable really, but 2 years ago a container of wheels or tires from Asia was usually 3k give or take... last can my bro brought in was 28k in shipping!

I see they have 25-06 AI.
The shipping costs are hard to swallow. I just did an order from Ellwood Epps. Shipping was half the cost of product. I added to cart for close to equal value just to try and make sense.
An order from Sage’s Outdoors (Alabama) took a chunk but know other choice.
We want it we pay for it I guess.

I recently bought a new Solar 420 jet tunnel inflatable. They have gone up $2,500 in the last year and a half. A sea can from Russia a year ago cost $5,000 and they paid 4x that for the last one, and that was before all this Russia/Ukraine stuff started so it was probably the last one they will see.

I just know I'm gonna be glad I bought the Tacoma last February and had the KS rifle built over the winter, instead of this year.....

I’m at point where I will not look for gun parts for guys anymore unless I’m working on their firearm . Spending hours trying to find a $10 part ,paying 30-40 in fees and shipping and having the person complain about the price . It’s unfortunate .

I've made several small purchases here, average cost to ship has been 35-40 bucks ( complete set of 2xl camo goretex mailed $40 a scope $35 set of dies $30 ) buI could'nt drive from here to edmonton for 105 bucks even if I did take a corrolla so I'm just gonna suck it up because it's only gonna get worse, so get those items listed for me to make a deal on while I can still afford to!!!! LOL

The shipping and fees seem excessive.
I just checked my last invoice from JGS. I got 2 custom ground reamers. And the shipping was $27.00. That was shipped to Canada
Now that the border is open I just have everything shipped to my US address. Less than half price.
PTG shipping is more expensive than most, reason is when it’s shipped internationally they hire a company to do paperwork and ship it.
And as alway the US exchange adds up fast. Can be a shocked on the CC bill if you don’t figure it out first.
And if it comes through customs they will add the taxes on that you would pay anyways if you got it in Canada.

I just received the same thing as you. Removable pilot, custom reamer from Manson. I was $327 to my door. My invoice showed only $4.00 in freight. I’m thinking I lucked out and they missed a zero.

Skyrocketing shipping costs may eventually bring back more localized retail. That would be a good thing. Monopolizing everything never did seem like a good idea.

Problem with most stuff like this. There is basically not a lot of choices where to buy tooling from.
Reamer, rod’s bushing’s , specialized cutters and all the stuff we need I don’t know of anywhere to get anything local.
I really don’t like dealing with PTG and the months of waiting. I think my last order was 9 months. But for certain things our hands are tied.
