What's the best time of year to fish for goldeye around Drumheller?

I went a couple of times this summer with no luck.

Will fall be better or they migrate down the river?

Right now all until mid October is the best. They do get really active before sunset. 6 to 7 pm sometimes all it takes to limit on them.
