Default Inline Muzzle Loaders

Well I was checking out a few front stuffers this weekend and a Remington Genisis kinda took a likin' to me and now wants to come home with me.Can any one fill me in on any details about the Remington's(SH,209x50)?Any input on these would be greatly appreciated as a trip to the jewelry store might be in store first.

Remington's kind of had an on again/off again relationship with muzzleloaders but from all I've heard about the new Genesis, it's a solid muzzleloader. I've handled one but haven't shot one so can't comment much other than that. Personally I prefer the action on the Omega but both will get the job done.

Yeah, Rem has made a history of bring out MLs then abondoning them. By all accounts this latest is a reasonable shooter. Just be aware that the rolling block may need some long legged scope rings to clear your scope.

I have a remington genesis. Solid shooter, but as 209 says the rolling block under a scope is a pain. Its the only draw back I've incountered so far.

Default Genesis

I have medium rings on my scope and there is no interference.... If you use the standard/low rings there may be interference with the rear sight. Removing it will eliminate the problem. Hornady 300 gr SST's grouped ok. Trigger is crisp, not sure of the weight !
