I think you should go to the cop-shop no matter what. Why give a thieving, coward, scumbag a break? Nail 'em to the wall.

Go to the RCMP. If they took your gear, what else have they taken, or worse? It could be that the RC's have been after these guys for years on a variety of offences and never really had the hard enough evidence to arrest them. Maybe your pics could be the tipping point. Who knows, but in this case why not err on the side of caution?

I agree, there is no need to wait on submitting these pictures. The criminals didn't do you any favors by stealing the cams so why should you do them any favors by waiting.

Best of luck

I'd post them up at that gas station you mentioned.
If they're local boys, work will spread fast.

Sorry about your cams.

I had one stolen from 340 last year. They cut the tree down, and took the piece of trunk it was on.I hope the cowards come forward.

Too bad on your loss but I would recommend you not post pics at the gas station or on here accussing them of stealing your trail cameras. You could find yourself in a heap of trouble if in fact they did not take them.

I'm sure between all of us, we are members of enough websites across Canada to re-post the pics and get their asses handed to them. Then turn 'em in.

I got my cameras back, turns out that there is going to be a lease built there for an oil company, some fella pulled them down and dropped them off at the nearest land owners place and from word of mouth, and possibly this board they were returned, thanx everyone and I apoligise to the people that did a good deed, and were critisized by me calling them a thief

Glad you got them back 6tmile. Perhps there is a lesson to be learned here. A tag with the owners name and phone # on it could have avoided all the stress.
The main thing is you got them back.
