Ford or Dodge?
Thinking of a new truck. If you had to choose, which one would get the nod? Ford or Dodge. Going to be used for hunting, fishing, etc... Thanks for your input.

There's a reason most fleet vehicles are Ford's.

Since they are 99% leased, better lease agreements?

From his post, it sounds like he'd highly recommend the upgraded heated tailgate option.

Ive had 3 new Dodges and one New Ford. Ford was nicer to drive because of more bells and whistles. Ford Drove nicer. Doges Lasted Way longer and my Ford Blew up at 101 500KM and Ford wouldn't do a darn thing for me and wanted over 10K to fix it!
My dodges have all ran real well for a very long time and little money to fix anything.
That being said I think I will give GMC a try next time

Go sit in the service waiting area of the dealership of your choice and find out the complaints. I would have no problem buying another dodge but sure won't see a minute in Grande Prairie did he Chrysler. I'll repeat. Stay away from Grande Prairie dodge.

Get the Ford. It is definitely more comfortable than the Dodge tailgate.

Who would you recommend? I’m entertaining on ordering a 3500 with a G56.

Of all the Dodge trucks I've owned, over 90% are still on the road... the rest made it home. My best was a '91 Cummins Turbo Diesel and it just found a new owner after 490,000 K. Had a new '05 Ford 6.0 diesel that was a nice enough truck but had a total junk engine. Harder yet to pick a winner these days. Good Luck with your search.

I'm trading my 16 Ram in, probably for a Ford. I was dumb enough to buy the air suspension though. Whoops!

Dodge
I had a 2012 ram 1500 that was great..no problems. Just traded and bought a brand new 2017 ram 1500...same truck basically but crew cab. Hemi with 6 speed transmission. My 2010 f150 blew up with 100,000km...
