Default Lac La Biche Launch

Does anyone know the condition of the boat launch at the mission on LLB on the town side? Thanks.

Are you talking about the Mission launch as in the ice road launch? We launched in town and was just as you describe with broken dock near the shore and covered in bird crap lol. Im referring to outside of town where the ice road heads on in the winter - just to clarify. Thank you.

I have a place at mission beach and launch here twice a day lots of days.....its fine, bring rubber boots or waders. Bird crap is all part of the experience at LLB lol.

Default Lac la biche launch

We usually fish Beaver Lake. Great launch, lots of parking space, and great fishing. Also the water is much cleaner there too.

As an FYI to anyone headed out……the road to the mission boat launch is closed and you can’t access the launch, so need to launch elsewhere. Not 100% sure what they’re doing or timeframe but figured I’d put it up here so people don’t waste their time heading there for the next bit.

It’s culvert replacement expected to be complete by mid sept weather permitting.

Just use the launch at Old Trail if there's any issues with Mission. Probably only another 5-10 minute drive West from Mission and it's a better launch.
