Default Ag Privateer vs MCS EH3

I am looking at these 2 stocks in left hand.

Looking for feedback on what everyone thinks if they have handled any or either of these.

I am specifically looking at these because of a narrow forend, 1.5” and the high combs and the limited selection in left hand.

The privateer looks similar to the field craft and nula stocks.

The manners, with more drop at the heel because of the raised comb, may be more comfortable to shoot?

Opinions?

I just had a Defiance AnTi dropped into a ag privateer for a 26 nosler build and the stock is top shelf. The grip area just feels great and shoulders perfectly. The shorter length and forend profile handles like a dream. They can be had for much cheaper as well. Gary at bighorn had lots.

Their top shelf quality! Fit and finish is impressive!

Just had a Defiance Rebel put into a Manners MCS-T carbon fiber stock. So not quite the one you are looking at. But my experience with the stock is great. Excellent piece.

Thanks guys, 1 concern on the eh3, is the belly part of rifle is very sharp. Good for ai setups but not great for a bdl which is they way Im leaning for a hunting rifle. Ai mags seem a little sloppy.

I am thinking a 20" barrel as well so I do like the compact forend on the privateer.

How is the comb height?

What was the approximate cost on them?

Thanks

The comb is sloping up towards the heel on the ag stock, so somewhere you have to split the difference for check weld.

0.625 drop at the comb. Heel rises up to 0.325 drop at the heel.

If you split the difference for cheek weld, it would be 0.475 or basically just under 1/2" from my understanding.

Manners eh3 is 0.40 drop at comb.

Believe ag stocks are running around... $850-$1000 depending on options.
