Default Video surveillance ideas and prices

Well I'm looking at possibly buying some kind video surveillance, does anyone have some ideas of what's good out there and not to far out of price range? Thanks for any replies.

Camera systems work great, but are also useless without huge signs. If you want criminals to avoid your area you need to post it quite visibly. Since the last crackhead got arrested because of various videos, we haven't had many bother coming by for a visit. After he left my place, I tracked him back to his motel room and got him busted. Funny thing was watching him stand there for a few minutes comprehending the sign, knowing he screwed up. Walked to my place in the snow, but left trying to hide his footprints.

Motion detection and audio capability lets you yell at intruder when you get a notification . Large signs cant hurt either .

An 8x10" sign is sufficient, if there is a tree on the drive in, put two on it. One for coming and one for going.

I just printed an image and laminated them with flexi cutting board and viola! can't miss them either way.

I got a Lorex set at Costco for cameras.
