I only went out once a few years ago... so many porcupines everywhere in the bushes there. Be careful if you bring a dog.

Most of the park is actually on-leash as far as dogs are concerned so it shouldn't be a big problem

I have counted 7 bucks in one herd; two nice sized bucks there I may add.

When they start to fall off there will be a few around, not including the White Tail sheds up there.

I have seen both species on Nose Hill. The 7 Muley bucks were on the east side along 14th St and the White Tails along Shaganappi Tr. There is one huge White Tail up there...170-180ish.

Haven’t been out this year yet but didn’t find any last year. I’m still not entirely sure where they drop them.

I live just down the road in Varsity so go up there quite a bit. Only ever found 1 haha. I mostly look in the pockets of trees and brush along John Laurie but someone either beats me to it or they’re not in there!

Saw 3 nice bucks bedded together a few weeks ago all still packing both sides.

PM me if you want, we can compare notes haha

On the Calgary late news last night, there was a short video of 4 beautiful bucks. I believe the video was shot on Nose Hill.....?
