If you order it, and have it sent to Alberta, you don't pay the PST.

Ya i figured that much, but i was a moron and ordered it from wholesale sports (probably the worst company when it comes to customer service ever). I did all the lag work and found one in saskatoon, got them to put it on hold while I got the edmonton store to order it form them and they still have not ordered.

Ask before you buy. Show an alberta drivers license. Should be good. If they give you grief, walk away.

You are only exempt on vehicles from paying PST.

Since you are an expert, here is what is on the Govt of Sask website:

Can non-residents purchase goods and services tax-exempt in Saskatchewan?
With the exception of vehicles, a non-resident is required to pay PST on all goods that are purchased in Saskatchewan. The goods are exempt from tax only when the retailer ships the goods to the purchaser outside the Province. Refunds are not available for non-residents who remove goods purchased in Saskatchewan. A non-resident certificate must be completed by a non-resident in order to purchase vehicles without the payment of PST. These certificates are available from motor vehicle dealers.

Here is the link:

I recently purchased a boat in saskatchewan and was exempt but when I wanted to buy some accessories, there was no exemption. Like I said, only vehicles are exempt.

Some retailers list merchandise that they sell to Albertans as having been shipped to Alberta to avoid charging the PST. It's not legal, but it does happen.

And people have illegally brought ammunition and reloading components to Canada from the USA. It wasn't legal, but it happened. As previously posted, it is quite easy for a retailer to write up the paperwork, to avoid charging PST to an Albertan.
