Nope.

Were $ no object I might, but right now...my budget only allows for trouble-free, non-nonsense, good-quality/accurate guns. That thing looks pretty big/lumpy to me. Even if I didn't think it did, the STG 44 that came out in 22 is a bit of a beast. I know some guys love them, but like the STG..I imagine the MP40 would share some similarities. Namely, that the only way to shoot it is standing/offhand.

I was sorely tempted by the STG-44 replica when it came into Canada, but eventually decided against it. Fairly skeptical of their "pot metal" parts, it would really suck to have something break and not be able to get a replacement part easily. GSG are not known for their superior quality, as cool as the replica guns are I will take a pass.

Based on my experience with GSG, it's likely pretty cool looking, quite an accurate replica, really heavy, and not terribly accurate. More of a talking piece than a shooter.

Wait till people start selling off their lightly used ones, like the STG can pick them up fairly cheap if you wait

Good point,I am sure you are exactly right and there will be plenty for sale a few months after they finally land. I'll have to try one out and see how it is.

^kind of what I was saying, only phrased better. I'd love to have one hanging on my wall, but that's probably where it would stay.
