Default 30-06 reloading powder

I am going to be doing up some reloads in the 165-200 grain range and was curious as to what powders everyone is liking in there 30-06?
I was thinking H4350

Best results in mine were achieved with Imr 4350 and 4831.I'm sure h4350 would work as well.

Default IMR was made for this caliber!

I like IMR the best but I'm sure the other brands will go bang too.

when I started relaoding 35yaers ago I looked for a powder that I could use on most of my guns that I had at the time ended up with 2 cans I use the most of are IMR 3031 the other is IMR 3841 one does not want a hole bunch of diffrent powders to easy to screw up and one can lasts a long time even when you have 2 or 3 guns using the same powder. powder and primers use to be the cheapest part of reloading. do your home work and fined out what gives you what you want. as I can load 30-06 with IMR 3031 but its a little sick compared to IMR 4831.

Your thinking is right, although I ususally use Imr mostly cause that's what I started with, and it has treated me right. I don't think there will be too much difference, and Hodgon makes good powder as well. H414, or WW760 is also pretty much perfect if you prefer ball powder. With my 200g load, I'm using 4831, and it works pretty good as well.
