Default Zeiss scopes choice for 300 wsm

wanting to put a zeiss conquest on my 300 wsm. have tried the zeiss calculator but it is not helping. choices are 3.5 x 10 x 44 and 4.5 x 14 x 44 with the z plex 600 and 800 reticles. Does anyone have one of these mounted ? any help greatly appreciated.

A good person to talk to about these 209x50 or sheephunter. I have 2 of them they work alright I would suggest the higher power deer sure look small at 600 yards in the cross hairs

I have a 4.5-14x44 on my 17HMR, and a 4.5-14x50 my 223, and a hunting partner has the 3.5x10x44 with rapid Z600 on his 280AI. based on these scopes, I will be mounting a 4.5-14x44 with rapid Z800 on my heavy barreled 260rem when it arrives. For big game hunting, I would go with the 3.5-10x44 myself. If you know your loads muzzle velocity and the B.C. of the bullet, it is easy to use the calculator on the Zeiss site to determine which reticle would be most suitable.

Smile I Just did the Same as your thinking.

It was funny to Read this thread because just 3 days ago I bought a new zeiss scope for my sako 85 Bavarian thats chambered in the 300WSM.My dad will be hunting this fall with the sako and he always wanted to try a 50mm scope,so I took the plunge for us.

I went with the 3.5x10x50 Zeiss conquest . They were on sale at WSS for $778.00
