I bought one in 20 gauge a while back to try it, I'm a(Franchi fan BTW)and was pleasantly surprised at the quality that went into it, seeing how it is considered an entry level gun.
I shot it quite a bit, and sold/traded it to a buddy of mine, who loves it, and shoots both trap and skeet with it.
Depending on the price you can get it for, yes, they are a good deal.
