Default Black bear hide

Just looking for tips on cleaning up a greasy hide. Already salted and bathed and thinned and scrapped. Used the orange bottle stuff for the tan.
I might give it a smoke for that wonderful smell.
But I am still not happy with the de greasing of the fur. Still a few spots are greasy and a few matted spots.
You guys have any tips on cleaning up the fur side. ?
Never dealt with something so greasy. Dawn and water x3 so far. Just looking to touch up the fur. Not wanting to wet the skin side again. Just looking for a brunch in or spray and rinse fur treatment.

First time tanning a bear and want it to turn out. Learning as i go. Having fun.

Try rubbing borax into the hair then vacuum and brush out the borax.

I’ve used a bit of borax on coyotes and fox to pull out some very small amounts of grease or tinge of blood on the skin below the fur. It worked well. Not sure if it would work on a greasy bear? I could try and if still not happy I can wash the thing again.

I think that this is the stuff that taxidermists use:

I'd ask about using it here:
