It's a dead coon. I fished for years on the Niagara River and have seen every sort of dead bloated thing either washed ashore or floating down the river, including birds, coons, dogs, cats, livestock and even humans

Yep - that made me laugh pretty hard. I just watched ghostbusters last week so it was fresh in my memory.
