Default Keho Lake

I want to generate a discussion about Keho Lake. I realize that there are 2 canals that 'feed' into the lake. I am wondering which would be the better canal to go to. The one on the west or the one on the east side.

I am also looking for shore fishing tips on this lake as I heard that this lake can be a hit and miss most of the time. I will mostly be trying to target Pike.

Any tips will be greatly appreciated

I found pike in the southern shallow waters, 6-12 feet. Weedy but that's where they like it. There appear to be some shore fishing possibilities there but I'm on the water so couldn't say.

Most people fish the canal on the west side. The boat launch is not bad fishing just fish the west side of it.
