Global just showed on the morning news a 150 RCMP from BC coming to assist, most from the tactical and motor vehicle squads.
I'm guessing they are going to lock down all the hiways in and out until the city is deemed safe to re- enter. Utilities and water/ sewer back online and by the looks of things that may be awhile.
I would hope the higher ups in the RCMP have learnt from highriver that Albertans do not take kindly to having their rights and freedoms trampled on, I do not expect a repeat.
