Old Bullets

I was given 2 boxes of real old rifle shells for a 30-06 and a .270… Not really interested in putting them threw a newer rifle… What is the best way to properly and safely dispose of bullets that you no longer want…?

Or if anyone on here wants 2 boxes you can have them…
