Default Road Work & Paving

I sure hope they get out every piece of equipment & crew possible and run it 24/7 for the next 2 months, imagine no construction holds-ups when there's actually traffic again!

Heading to install a water heater at 5pm I was able to sail south on Crowchild to Glenmore and not even have to tap the brakes, the next vehicle was 300 yards in front of me. I'll take that whenever I can get it!

I've got a good eye for that, and a high vehicle to see over most anything under a 5-ton. Usually I look down on those in F-350's, mostly literally but I guess sometimes figuratively too

It seems like they are doing that here in downtown Calgary, lots of road closures and detours right now.

Need the provincial and local governments to put tenders out for the work. Not too much out there . If there is some work, right now most of the tendered work Is in the southern region of Alberta.

I look almost every day at the ARHCA Tender list and on the APC site for potential civil work in my area. Like I said a lot of work tendered for Central and Southern Alberta and not that much up north.

I did see that AT said they will be spending well over a Billion on road infrastructure upgrades in the next year to 2 on projects still to be tendered

Considering when they decide to do bridge maintenance and whatnot, I fully expect them to start on the first long weekend once this has died down a bit.

I would be VERY surprised if E-town got a head start.

They haven't started cleaning the streets yet, they could of been dooing that for the last month. They allways seem to wait until summer is well under way instead of getting a head start on it.

That's what happens when you vote in a Mayor that hates cars
