That's the part that drives me nuts. Out of one side of their mouths they are getting tougher on law abiding gun owners while out of the other side of their mouths they are going easy on criminals who smuggle guns into the country.
It's the hypocrisy of it all that I find infuriating and the useful idiots feel safer.
Example:
C-21 (attack on law abiding gun owners)
Followed by C-22 (soft on law breaking criminals.
