Default spot for sighting in rifle

I made a thread a few days ago about buying my first rifle, and since now i have it I need to get it sighted in. I had a friend who was supposed to help me out with it but he isn't getting back to me so i'm a little stuck. What i was looking for was if someone knew a cut line or similar where a guy could pace out 100 yards and sight a rifle in without bothering anyone, or if anyone was headed out to genesee or similar this weekend and wouldn't mind a guest. would be much appreciated, but a spot in the woods close to edmonton would be more then enough. I am going to get a range membership, just don't have the cash at the moment. I do have a box of .300wsm ammo for anyone who takes me out for a hour or 2 and shows me the ropes of sighting a rifle in. I got the basics, but it would be good to have a experienced person help out a bit. the 300 ammo is
Winchester supreme elite xp3's.

in the whitecourt area. As well as helping
out my rifle sighting . Will post pics if i get
anything. Pretty excited!
