Default Marlin Tuners?

Anyone that you would recommend to tune a Marlin 1895 45-70 ? It is having issues with letting only 7/8 of the shell leaving to mag tube onto the lifter/carrier.Thought it was the mag spring previous owner may have stored loaded ? Took it out and did a mild stretching and re-assembled ,but same issues.

Yup, lots of times the culprit is the loading gate screw is loose.

Default irritating @ the time ..........

Didn't like having a repeater that only worked as a SS because it is an accurate gun cutting .5" 3 shot groups at 100 yards with either 300 or 350 gr bullets. It is the early 70's version before the lawyer proof cross-bolt safety...Harold
