Default Fun with a labradar

My friend paul and I shot a variety of calibers at the range today all with hand loads but never Chronographed before today.
Got my hands on a labradar chrony and we shot lots of ammunition out at Wabamun this afternoon.
The most surprising load to me was in 25-06 with the 80gr TTSX bullets screaming down the bore at better than 3700fps.7 mag at 3400 with 140gr TTSX. 300 Win mag with 125gr, yikes they were very fast.
On the lighter side some 140 accubond with 44gr of Win 748 at 2800 very accurate load in 7mm-08
250 savage with the 80gr TTSx at 3250, very pleasant to shoot and nice groups with R 15 and Win 760.
Cannot wait to load up some more and get back to the range with the Labradar.....FS

Chronographs can cause disappointment, when the velocities are much lower than expected, but they can also bring attention to situations that weren't noticed, but should be looked at. If you are seeing 150-200 fps more than is normal with a given cartridge/bullet weight, then the pressure is likely well above normal as well.

Manuals do vary, but if you are seeing 150-200 fps more than any manual, the reason is usually because you are producing more pressure than any of the people publishing the manuals.
