And, supposedly random, 1000 calls to people 18yrs old and up, commissioned by CTV, says we are in deep trouble. Libs and the media will use this sort of thing for propaganda;

And of course, there is a petition out there to counter One Clear Voice, here is one example, these guys are truly off their nut, check out their website. Fortunately this may be the only one according to the searches I have done, but, I may not be using the proper search terms;

And then there are the international based outfits, who Trudeau and crowd are very definitely listening to, along with the Poly crowd, who are the most vocal and listened to bunch up here;

Thanks for the excellent post with all that information.
I believe that in 2019 we should target Ralph Goodale and the vulnerable liberal Rural MP's. Since yesterday's nanos pole rated 68% of Canadians agree with a total handgun ban, I believe that is what Trudeau is going to do. Most of those 68% will be urbanites. Personally at this point I think it futile to write any MP's or write petitions. Targeting MP's agressively in vulnerable rural riding might not get them re elected.

May be of some small comfort to know that all the daily newspaper and various local TV station online polls across the country, that I have seen, have been overwhelmingly against a handgun ban. The story of the TPA chief and heads of the various other police agencies, saying a ban is not going to do what people think it will, is gaining traction as well. Seems to be a reasonably even number of editorials for both sides out there, but, the media is making money off the anti spin to their stories, and making plenty of noise about anything related to a gun related story that pushes the anti agenda. And unfortunately, there are currently no shortage of shootings happening where innocents are getting killed. Also, we seldom get the whole story on who got killed and why, and those stories don't get the front pages or the soundbyte clips.

This something of a trend that I haven't seen a lot of mentioned as to it happening here, corporate anti-gun stances, it is becoming a thing down south, there are a lot of companies getting on that bandwagon;

CCFR has opened a Patreon page for donations, they will need them to fund things like ads, polls, etc, for becoming a regular donor there are some perks;

https://www.patreon.com/CCFR

And if you want to print it off and get some sigs on it and send it in, there is this petition from Cheryll Gallant as well, some MP's have started to mention it in answer letters;

Here’s something interesting. Total proof that our border security pooped the bed. Wonder where these were headed. Maybe Godal should focus a little bit more on that fact that these made it across than what legal gun owners are doing. Lots of questions here, like are these collectors, are they active, where’s the paperwork?

There is a pretty simple letter campaign here. It is to the point, my only beef is question #1, as I believe the Supreme court already ruled on that, no go. And if the gov't does bring it up again, it needs to be worded to exclude paper crimes for licencing;

There is one mention on the Fedex case, of a second box that has gone missing from that shipment. Fedex definitely screwed up on it.

Libs are having a meeting this week in Saskatoon to figure their fall strategy for dealing with the mess they have created. Between C71, C75. C69, C46,M103, not requiring ID for voting anymore, the pipeline issue, carbon tax, NAFTA, I'd bet they have a lot to discuss. Wait and see what goes on I suppose.
The media is still perpetuating the lies told by the Libs around the firearms issues, mayors calling for gun bans, courts making asinine decisions to help the Liberal cause. Ministers proving they are incapable of doing their jobs, and some with an indeterminable intent to cause problems in various scenarios around the country, it will be an interesting session of Parliament, if they do open Parliament next week.

Has anyone seen any information regarding the type of weapon used is some of these high profile shootings ie the Fredricton shooting? This is supposedly a long gun, but what kind? The judge lifted the publication ban so why isn’t this information available? Seems to me that they found the weapon on scene so it really shouldn’t be classified information if the crown intends to use this as evidence, I mean he’s already been charged right? We know the Toronto shooting was a handgun, but only because of the video that surfaced.

Not sure it matters a whole bunch, that was an ambush by a wingnut who likely wanted to commit suicide by cop. The fact that is was a long gun, is more important to the Libs. Provides more ammo to the ban cause one way or the other. Just like the Poly shooting was a long gun, happened to be an autoloader, which never did attain ban status, yet.

Don't forget about One Clear Voice folks, they have another campaign going, every little bit counts;

#17 http://oneclearvoice.ca/

#2 is still a very valid letter to work with; http://oneclearvoice.ca/campaign002.html

Don't forget the libs are watching the reaction and response to the Cons town halls. Even if you believe that you'll not hear anything more than political blather, simply being there is a sign to the Libs they have trouble. If only a few people show up, they can ignore it, if an actual crowd shows up, they start paying attention, and getting nervous.

That may not be a bad thing.
I hope the Libs sit back on their arrogant azzes with confidence that they have 2019 sewn up and don’t take Scheer as a serious threat,then.......WHAM!!New Prime Minister in Sussex Drive just like that leaving them leftard wingnuts scratching their shared pea brain wondering WTF just happened!!

The Danforth shooters gun or origin has never been identified except for an unconfirmed report of it being stolen from an unidentified gun store in Saskatoon.

I think the gun came from his brother, he was caught with 33 PROHIBITED new in box pistols from the US. If the make and model of the gun was released and it turned out to be prohibited it would expose the poster boy for the Liberals ban plan as using a banned handgun.

In better news the Liberal MP's are split on the ban plan.

Be nice to see the rural liberals stage a bit of a revolt on it. They have enough problems as is. Comrade Justin won't let it happen though.
