Default "New" Marlin

Took possesion of one of those P&D marlins (in 35rem) today, gun is in excellent condition:

Now I just need to find some ammo, I was in Corlanes Wednesday and they had neither ammo or brass...

thats sucker really is in good condition. They still have alot of inventory left? what did that set you back if you dont mind me asking.

I bought an 1894 in 44 Rem. Mag from P&D as well, mine was made in 1977.

NDN: Prices are listed in their centerfire rifle list, they have a few of that particalar shipment left prices range from 375-500 bucks, that particular one was 450.

I looked up my man. date, mine was built in 1981...

Found some ammo and shot mine, the sights are funky on it, the holes for the front sight are drilled slightly off center, so I think I'll take them right off and put a scope on it, I've got a 2.5-8 vxiii that would work good on it.
