Although the value of these polls is questionable, I am going to log on from another computer at home and then again at work. The real question should be; do you support stiffer sentences for crimes committed with a weapon!
As a group of responsible gun owners, we have a lot of work to do!

Still 60/40. We need to raise awareness of the proper facts. A handgun ban will do nothing except for turn law abiding citizens into criminals. Criminals have no problems getting handguns now, what do they expect a ban to do?

I voted no. It hasn't changed from 60/40 in while. Just shows you how ignorant most people are. They do not understand how important the right to bear arms is. At some point in time, in the history of every nation the government will be unable to protect you and you must protect yourself.

The boys @ CGN already have it up. They're pretty fast due to the guys from the east getting wind of the stories coming out of Toronto. Spread the word to every forum you guys/gals belong to.............you never know, there may be some handgun toting granny in someone's crochetting club!!! 
There is another poll on the Globe and Mail website. It started @ 72% yes and 24% no. By this afternoon, it changed to 29% yes and 71% no. Once the word got out this morning on CGN, the whole vote shifted dramatically.
