Default Wilkinson creek

Went up forestry trunk road yesterday morning, I know that it's said to be a creek with no fish in it, but we did find a few pool going up from the cataract creek day use parking lot. Was very warm and like I said we found quite a few pools with some little brookies, very little. Most were 2-4 inches but still a lot of fun on a 2wt rod. I started off using a #14 elk hair caddis, and I was surprised that they were taking it, I wish I had a smaller one like a 18 or 20 even. Would have had a lot more on my line. Will definitely be going back here, beautiful scenery and fun little fish. I would recommend spin casting as they were taking really really small single hook mepps and panther martins. But the main reason I wrote this is to give an update that there are fish in wilkinson creek, and if you want a nice easy going day, it's a great place to go
