Default Puppy names

My in laws farm dog Fred was either stolen or killed by coyotes a month ago. They just got a male puppy today and are stumped on a
name. Anyone have any suggestions on names?

Always thought if I ever got a male dog, I'd name him Beau, Remington, or Winchester.

I had a blue heeler years ago. That dog would go absolutely nuts if there is a blonde in short skirt within his sight, after few of these behaviour mishaps I name him Chubby.

I am partial to human names for dogs. Both my dogs are named after people, reasons are personal.

I have found that the simpler and shorter the name, the easier it is for the dog to learn and remember. I always try to stick to simple, one syllable names like; Skip, Ty, Max, Bo, Red, Tea, etc.

Unfortunately, some *&^%$#@ people try to give their dogs really looong names, like; Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

More help ... https://www.google.ca/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Dog+names

If I ever had the need for a guard dog. I'd name him Big Pu$$ey!

This dog would be strictly for guarding property and not a pet.
