Default Reloading 6.8 spc

Hi, looking for some info on reloading for this rifle. Just picked up a xcr-l with a 6.8 barrel and, well...not sure where to start. Any suggestions on powder? It seems with nosler data almost all powders are compressed loads (not sure how you even get 115% into a case). I'm fairly new to reloading so any advice would be great.

Thanks
Matt

Check out the Hodgdon website. Failing that there is a 6.8 specific forum out there with a lot of excellent information. The 6.8 is a potent little round.

I reload for the 6.8spc XCR and found 28grains of H322 to be the most accurate. The velocity was down a bit but that's ok. Hornady brass seemed to work the best for me. I guess there's a theory that the small rifle primer brass works better.
