I will actually be at SPFGA at 4pm tomorrow. If you are there, I will vouch for you to everyone on AO, and I will sign the target as a witness. That's normal practice with stunning groups. Just let me know what you are driving. I will come and introduce myself.

I'm just hoping for 1 1/2" groups. At 100.

I can be there as well and an independent witness. Heck, I will bring my tack driver to join the challenge!

I love seeing tiny groups and admire the skill that goes into them. Post up some pics. I know lots of my buddies that shoot regularly, and post on AO, would also love to see em.
What did you have for benchrest rigs?

Nothing fancy, just off the shelf stuff. Don't even know that you'd necessarily call them benchrest rigs. Rem 700 5r that I put a Jewell trigger on, Rem 700 AAC-SD that I put in a Bell and Carlson stock and put a Timney Calvin Elite on, Tikka HB Varmint, and Rem 700 Police LTR. Frequently I could get little teeny tiny groups at 100, but never 1/4" at 200

1.5 inch groups will easily kill stuff out to yardages that common folk should be shooting at.
Regardless of the toys I add to it.
Honestly i have yet to shoot a group smaller than 1.5" average if I get two shots that touch I consider it an error in practice. My groups look more like a 12 guage pattern test.

OMG.....that can all be fixed with an aftermarket barrel and a Huskemaw blue diamond scope!!! (tons of sarcasm)

Is it me or is a Huskemaw the rifle version of a "man bun"?

When I was going over the specifications for my new custom rifle with Tim at Corlanes a few years ago, one of the young fellows behind the counter seemed surprised that not only didn't I want a brake on the rifle, but I didn't want a Huskemaw scope either. It was like there was something wrong with ordering a custom rifle without a brake or a Huskemaw scope. I can only assume that the kid watched too much Best of the West.

I am only guessing, cuz I haven't bought squat from Corlane's, but it seems like a cultic following of Gunwerx/Huskemowmow/Kestrel stuff, with Corlane's being the Temple in Canada

I have known Tim and Rod for many years, long before anyone had heard of Best of the West or Huskemaw, so when I want to purchase something from them, they just ask what I want, without trying to sell me any of the Gunwerks/Huskemaw/Kestrel stuff. I am sure that they have enough customers like edmhunter to sell that stuff to. Knowing Tim and Rod, they probably can't keep a straight face when they are told that the weatherby that they rebarreled is shooting consistent 1/4" groups at 200 yards.
