Exclamation Aerial Blasting in Calgary

Calgary Police ‏@CalgaryPolice 10h

There will be ongoing aerial power blasting in the SE of the city over the next week. Keep in mind that blasting sounds will travel wide.

the actual site is at 61st Ave and 100 St SE.

No clue, but the police were sending out alerts, I expect they are expecting bomb calls or such from the noise

To make a crimp on power lines and transformer stations they use explosives.

Don't tell Al Quaida. I've seen connections where they light a device filled with Thermit. Metal melts and fuses the wires.
