Go get real help.

maybe you should send someone here a stool sample and have them look at it with a spotting scope and get a better opinion

Gimme you address? I will send you a stool sample.

Others here have offered some good advice.

I went to the Dr today and they drew blood. Testing for various things..

My Dr thinks it is diabetes though.

I am slotted in for a chest scan though.

for me it was a weight loss about the same,,, anyways, your doctor is a bad doctor.

for me it was cancer, and a loss of income for 5 years after my savings ran out,, who would think crapping ones pants and spontaneous vomiting in public or while laying in bed for a good chunk of that time could be sooooo expensive?

if you can, just go from clinic to clinic to health facility until someone thinks you need to see a specialist el pronto.

Default weight loss???

I have been Insulun dependent for over 12 years now, when I first discovered I had diabetes there was no weight loss,no excessive thirst, just tired all the time, there was weight gain after I started injections.as for tingling, yes there is that. kinda like your hands or feet fell asleep... pain in the ass, but you learn to live with it.so what I am saying is everybody who develops diabetes has similar but sometimes different symptoms... see another freaking Doctor immediately>

I'm done apparently. Stage four Cancer. I was a stupid man that ignored all the signs.
I have a massive growth on my lung that chemo would not help.

I have a year at best.

This is not what I expected.

God bless!

Don't give up. Doctors can be wrong.
You have everyone here praying for you and here for you during this fight.
Hang in there man

Default back to the doctor

Really at a loss at how to express condolences to a stranger, but that diagnosis really sucks bud! Not that it helps any at this point, but it is unfortunate that we dont seem to be able to hold our doctor's accountable for goofs like this. If your original doctor had not brushed it off so easily, you might have caught it earlier (assuming you got checked early enough).
Find another doctor, or at least demand to see a specialist. Remember: the first doctor was wrong. The second doctor is only human as well. Keep up the fight!

Crap, I am so sorry to hear about this!
Time for a third opinion as well, but one must look on the realistic side annd be prepared.
I think the first thing I would do is talk to that first doctor and let him know just what think of him as well.

brlsk, I am so sorry for your news. If you want to fight it, and they won't give you Chemo please try these folks if you have any funds available.

http://www.issels.com/#sthash.R71zv8T5.dpbs

This is the clinic that my MIL went to after they said up here that she couldn't do Chemo anymore and within 2 weeks they had the tumor in her lung down to half the size.
They have helped a ton of people which I saw with my own eyes while down there. The doctors help you change your lifestyle to assist in the fight and are good at finding either generic brands of drugs or working with the folks that have coverage down there to "work things out." I know it is a bit of an alternative medicine treatment but it actually works. There was a huttertie woman down there at the same time from SK and she had come in a wheelchair and left walking full blast under her own steam. It is only 3-4 weeks usually and they have places to stay. If you want to speak to me about it PM me and I can give you my number.

After all the doctor stuff and maybe in between you need to do some fishing. Don't stop doing the things that make you who you are. You got belted in the gut, but you gotta get up and keep going. It's hard....its unfair ....ands its really crappy!!!!

Everyone on here is rooting for you and I'm sure that they would try and help any way they can. All the best to you and your family.

You need another DR opinion NOW! If what you described is true your health is at risk.

Try to get to dr.Ken Steward at Royal Alex Chest Clinic. Ask your doctor to refer you there. He removed my wife's lung cancer. That was year and a half ago. So far she is clean. On a lighter note she quit smoking on the operation day with no help(patches or other things) no cravings no withdrawal pains. Mind over body. Do not give up and good luck.

Check with your specialist, there is always trial drugs being tested and looking for volunteers. My old fiance manager was diagnosed with single cell lung cancer and volunteered. That was 10 years ago and she is still going strong.

Just another option to look into.

stay strong, keep fighting, new treatments are coming along all the time. You aren't done yet.

No one can say anything to you to make you feel better. I am so sorry to hear of this, and although we have never met, feel as though one of my brethren is in for a hefty battle.

One thing I will say is do your best to stay absolutely positive! We had an older fella at work get the same prognosis a few months ago, but he was told 4 months. He is still around and kicking and just came back to work after his cancer went into remission. The mind is absolutely a POWERFUL thing and I truly believe a positive attitude is the first step in the road to recovery.

YOU WILL GET BETTER! I believe it, now you must believe it. Hug your family everyday, smile, and just know in your own mind you will beat this man.

I will pray tonight for you.

God bless

Jeff

Try alternative treatment. My mother went to the Hoxy Clinic just south of San Diego in Mexico and they cured her when the cancer treatment methods here could do nothing.

Miracles happen all the time, I am wishing one for you. Stage 4 is bad but can be beaten in some cases. I hope you are one of them. Explore your health options. Good luck, and take care.

Between you and Mudbug you both can give lessons in being stubborn and pigheaded and refusing to give up!
You're both an inspiration to all of us with your determination to plug along.

I hope that OP is able to be like you both and kick C in the Arse.

Sorry to hear that brslk. Fight it and you've got lots of prayers to back you up.

I know a young feller who was ready to give up on his battle with cancer and die a year ago; now, according to checkups and scans, he is cancer free!
