Any of you played Crystal Ridge in Okotoks? For a 9 hole it's not an easy track. Shootin from the blacks, there's water on every hole. Nice for a quick round although the weekends tend to get quite slow.
I did a bunch of work on the clubhouse when they built it.

I did notice more than just a few guys in the gallery today wearing Tigers exact red shirt, down to the trim and logo.
Wonder if these shirts are selling through the Masters shops or Tigers web store ?

Leader board is a changing....
Sneds went from the birdie to bogie club on the last 2 holes. He is 3 back at -5 (3 behind Cabrera at -8).
Day has a birdie chance to get with in 1.

Tigers shot on 15 friday, was the wirst bad break I have ever seen. He would be 8 under right now without that. Brutal! My personal best was a 69, paradise canyon in lethbridge, I had 11 one putts.

Things are definitely getting interesting. Probably Day or Scott but will have to see. Would be awesome if Tiger could get a few more but it is probably too little too late.

This tournament was probably Tigers to lose without that unlucky shot though. When he is on no one comes close.

fish gunner...you are only right about any of us playing Augusta,it just ain't going happen.
But it is real golf that us poor hackers play on our home courses...the guys on tv are just at another level of playing real golf...golf is real for all those that play the game...so once you get done with your nap and you wake up...oh well never mind, some people just don't get it!

I think the club is at fault as well for not pulling him aside to get a better understanding of the drop. Even without knowing what Tiger's thought process was it's clear he made not effort to drop the ball " as close as possible" to the previous position as the rule states.
In general, I don't have a problem with the ruling but I think golf is a game that has more compliance with the rules than any other sport. For that reason I think Tiger should have WD from the tournament.

Committee interpretation of rules can be different from weekend to weekend.
As Augusta rules committee was aware of Tigers drop while he was on #18 on Friday(they deemed his drop no penalty) and they would be obligated to make Tiger aware of his penalty prior to completion of his round. They did not...therefore he did not sign an incorrect scorecard based on committee decision. Not sure Tiger's thinking on his drop? The drop he took does not even fall into one of the 5 drop options on a red staked hazard...and this is a yellow with only 3 options(4 with the drop zone). Augusta could and probably should have sent him to Dairy Queen, but they never...this is where the ball was dropped...the two stroker based on committe decision was there way of saying we don't want to punt the greatest player of all time, we f'd this ruling big time...ruling was made...time to move on...Feherety had the best tweet on the whole situation..."Rule 33 used correctly at the Maters. That is all, play ball!"
