Tying up more of these guys tonight, great patterns and always work well for me

Fantastic!!! Great shots, keep the background makes the flies stand out perfectly. I'm betting all will be successful.

All are very nice. I will have to try that caddis on the Bow when the fish aren't willing to stick their noses all the way up.

That caddis pattern 4th down looks perfect, gonna have to try it. Great ties!

I like the CDC ones, do they float in the surface film?

What are you using to finish your chironomids. I have seen other examples of you chronies and they all look great.

A coating I order from the UK, I cannot remember the name offhand, I buy like 6 bottles at a time lol. I will take a look after and let you know. Literally the hardest finish you will find. I have a guy that bought a box of chironomids off me 4 years ago and not 1 has fallen apart even after 13 fish

Does the finish retain the glossiness after being fished extensively?

Yes, I have yet to have any fly turn milky on me yet. I have a box full of chironomids that are 8 years old but look like new
