According to the people that know him I think Crazy may be the word but I can't say as I have never met him other than him sending me PM's on here.....
Lazy , I could not tell ya but he sure gave up on trapping didn't he! Maybe was too tough for him and it was easier to tell everyone he was a Dr on the subject instead and put some money in his pocket another way? ....
Not sure why he thinks he is going to save any wolves in this fight. I think I may go out of my way to get a few more. Seems like the moose in my areas reacted to last years wolf harvest. I know it is not a reasearch paper that tells me I made a difference but I am sure it did....

What would happen if the government offered one priority point, for each wolf, to be placed in any draw of the hunters choice, to those hunters who successfully harvest and register a wolf. It would not actually cost the government anything other that the administration paperwork.
The guy that lives in say.... Provost might not think that's very fair as someone living in say High level.

Maybe not, Alberta is like that , but it would depend on what value you put in the extra point.
It would it get you into that coveted tag that much quicker.
The bottom line is to reduce the wolf population.

Default Figured out a solution

They should move all the elk off Suffield to the caribou grounds and vice versa so that the caribou population can grow by 35x in 20 years and maybe we can have a caribou hunt one day. Logging would not be stopped and the caribou could see the wolves coming from a long ways away.

Drove from Hinton to G.P. on the 14th of may. Saw 27 caribou about halfway between Grande Cache and Hinton. They were feeding in the middle of a clear cut. One nice bull starting to palmate on the tops. Several calves. They looked healthy. Guess they didn't know that clear cuts are bad for them. No old lichen just new grass.

Sarcasm? I remember the days when caribou roamed the prairies by the thousands....
