I too much prefer to dial and use the center crosshairs to aim however simple bdc reticles work out to typically 4-500 yards quite well.

Swaro brx is their fine reticle for vermin and targets. They have a brh which is thicker for general hunting use. It is a mil based reticle

The cds system is good if you like shooting groups and want bulleyes at all the different ranges. Zero at 100, turn it up accordingly, and now your zeroed at 200 yrds. Find the settings that match the ranges you’ll be shooting at.

All 3 are good brands. Leupold has probably the biggest dealer network and excellent service via Korth.

The vx5hd 2-10 though has a fine Plex? Maybe a vx6hd 2-12 but a lot more $$ over the vx5

I have old eyes and love the Zeiss in low light
