I love my old Winchester Model 70's. But I have also been enjoying the Weatherby Vanguards. And you'll hear no complaints from me about my Browning X-Bolt.
I have 3 or 4 guns wearing Zeiss and I am leaning towards changing most of my glass to Zeiss as well but I do have a few others that have treated my eyes well over the years (Leupold with B&C reticle, Simmons, Bushnell).

I used to run only Tikka rifles. I have slowly been upgrading them to the Sako brand since I liked my Tikka's so much. I have even been considering selling my M695 Tikka in 25-06 sinch I like my Sako 7-08 so much.

Default Running a mixed bag

I've got a few different types, Cooper, Marlin, Rugers, Sakos, Savage, S&W, and Winchesters. I'm running Baush and Lomb, Burris, Leupolds, Nikon, Swarovski, and Vortex for glass. I liked the Zeiss I had, and will probably get another one day, I like Leupold and Swarovski because they're lighter. My favorite set up is my m70 pre 64' action featherweight chambered in .280 topped with a Baush and Lomb 4200 elite.

I own rifles by Cooper, Anschutz, Tikka,Winchester, Marlin, as well as customs. As far as scopes go, I have Swarovski, Zeiss, Kahles and Nikon. My shotguns are Browning and Winchester. I don't purchase based on brand, but rather on the features, the intended use, and the price.

Coopers, Sakos and Weatherby with Nightforce and Swarvoski scopes.

Best out there and accurate too.

Coyote laying on the snow at 910 died with one shot from my Sako. He didn't got up after the hit. Priceless!!

I love my Tikkas but also own, marlin, CZ, Winchester, stag, browning, ruger, a few savage rim fires and Remington shotguns. As far as scopes I have a Leupold rimfire scope on 1 22. The rest of the rim fires have nikon with the exception of 1 vortex. The center fires mainly have Leupolds but also have zeiss, Bushnell and nikon.

I mostly hunt with Tikkas and Leupolds. As shooting tools they are good enough for me.

I like shooting and hunting more than I like tinkering with rifles and scopes to get them to work properly.

Tikkas are good enough out of the box for a hunting rifle and I've only ever had one problem with a Leupold scope (sent it to Korth - fixed).

However, that's not to say I won't shoot anything else - if it happens to catch my fancy.

High end Savage and Zeiss Optics. The dud factor is out there for every rifle. I have a buddy with a Sako 85 and he can't get it to group worth a damn. Rifles are mass produced and something is bound to be missed at the factory from all manufactures. If it's your 1st gun go cheap cause you'll learn through friends and experiences what is truly important to you in a rifle. Not to mention you will want to change the calibre a few times too. Spend your money on good optics. In fact, take your optics budget and double it!!

Right now I am working with a modified Remington 700 5R and NF optics. Great combination thus far. Really like the availability of parts for Remington and the durability and quality of NF.

Weatherby's and Brownings in the rifle dept. Most of my glass is Leupold, with the occasional Meopta.

Sako, Weatherby, and Winchester for big game wearing either Zeiss or Leupold glass. Rim fire is CZ with Nikon glass. Shotgun is Browning and previously Remington. All fit me well and that is the reason for buying in the first place.

I have far to many rifles to list everything.
If it comes left handed, or is ambidextrous, I probably own it, or have owned it, or am thinking of buying it.
Same thing with optics.

I only have three rifles and they are all different manufactures - Savage, Tikka and Zastava. Two scopes are Leupold's and the third is a Zeiss.

Sako model 75 all with Leupold scopes (Vari-X III's / VX III / VX III / VX3's)

After my first Sako and Leupold combo, I never looked back. Leupold Canadian warranty depot is in Okotoks. Big benefit being in Canada if work is needed.

Default gun brands

Blaser, and a few mod 70 crf models.
Wish I could afford more than one sxs rifle. Neat to shoot, but you really need someone along to help pack it
Glass is usually an assortment of Swarovski, or some other quality european. A few Schmidt Bender thrown in.

Default everything

I own winchester m70 ,model 94, 2 A bolts , marlin , ruger hawkeye and 10 22,and a few remingtons everything is leupys but one my new ziess hd on my 7mm and I like it. Buy what fits you best and in your budget. Expensive gear is nice but my neighbor shoots just as much game and he uses a savage and mossberg rifle with cheap ammo and optics. Lol but come to think of it he missed a lot last year haha. I think it was the operator. ...

That's how I'd like to think but in all reality it's the opposite!!
