If you already have a 243, best to leap-frog up a bit and get something in a 300WM. That can be made very precise and certainly will be able to reach out and touch nearly every game animal of interest around here. Maybe look at an 'accurized' Kimber. Then after that, some form of fast .338. Then fill in the gaps if you need to.
