Default Traditional Broadhead poll

Lets see what is popular with the Traditional shooters. If I missed your top BH just add in a coment. I left out weights and screw in or glue on , so add this to your coments. I am shooting screw in VPA's this year in 2 blade 300 gr, and 3 blade in 200, 250 and 300 grains , Asgir 300gr. extreems and Silver Flame 200 gr screw in on the modern bows, and Tusker Aztec, and Vpa 175 glue on on the self bows. I like heavy arrows, and often will have a 100 gr brass insert and a 300 gr BH giving me lots of weight and 30%+ FOC.

Fairly fond of the Woodsman line. Easy to sharpen and fly nice. The originals ain't to expensive niether.

Trapshooter, you have good taste. Those Tuskers are cheap, tough , easy to sharpen, hold a great edge. I am glad I stocked up on Aztecs while they were available here.

Depending on what bow gets pulled out it will be zwickey 125 or a magnus journeymen 160.
I usually file on a chisel tip to these. Have any of you had problems with the
point folding over on any of these filed to a point?

When I had the traditional bug I pretty much used nothing but Journeyman's on a cedar shaft.

I used to like a woodsmen when I used to hunt with stick and string. Should dust them off.

One that kind of interests me is the new Muzzy Phantom Fred Eichler one...

Grew up with the Stingers, and I like the look of their "new" crossbow heads, just the non-vented design brings back some nostalgia.

If I make it out for spring bear this year with the recurve, I think this will be the 2bld Magnus Stinger Buzz cut (crossbow), gold tip trad shafts, 100 gr. brass insert and tube weight (or I'll test out the 6mm 100 gr. bullet trick in the shafts, just for kicks and giggles).

For years I've been telling myself to start making my own points. Please share some pics.
