Thumbs down Canadian soldier deceased, others wounded in training exercise Wainwright

I am surprised nobody saw this yet?

Deepest condolences to family and friends.

Around 10 a.m. E.S.T., while Canadian Army personnel were participating on Exercise RUGGED BEAR in Wainwright a soldier died due to injuries.

Sergeant Robert J. Dynerowicz from the Royal Canadian Dragoons, based at Canadian Forces Base Petawawa, Ontario, died as a result of his injuries following a vehicle accident. He was conducting training at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright, Alberta.

Three other soldiers were injured.

The three injured soldiers have been taken to hospital for medical treatment. Their medical condition will not be disclosed at this time.

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of Sergeant Dynerowicz in Wainwright, Alberta. Not only is his death a painful loss to his family and friends, but we feel this loss across the Canadian Army and the entire military community. Chief Warrant Officer Alain Guimond and I extend our sincere condolences, on behalf of all ranks of the Canadian Army, to the family and friends of Sergeant Dynerowicz,” Lieutenant-General Paul Wynnyk, Commander Canadian Army

A military police investigation has been initiated; however, no further information is available at this time.

Exercise RUGGED BEAR is a key live-fire training event for the Canadian Army’s Road to High Readiness training program, which commenced on April 15 and is slated to end on April 27 2017.

Apparently, the LAV [ Light Armored Vehicle] have a history of being top heavy and will roll, on uneven terrain..there has been several other fatalities, both in Canada and Afganistan
