Default Remington 1100 12 gauge shell extractor

After 30 years of use the shell extractor failed on my 1100 and I have had a very difficult time finding a replacement. Does anyone on the forum have extras that they may be willing to sell?

It must be the original old style extractor and not the new improved one (the new ones are too thick to fit into the bolt).

I have tried numerous part stores but everyone of them seems to be sold out and I understand Remiington is file for bankruptcy so not sure when new ones will be resupplied.

Live in YYC but happy to pay postage from anywhere.

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately all of the suppliers you mentioned are out of stock. Western has always been my go to store but no luck this time, Hoping a gunsmith might have a few in his inventory that they might sell as getting one through a supplier isn't the answer.

I really hope someone takes up the torch and makes Remington parts now that Remington is tits up.

I have most of a model 58 that I bought from a member on here for parts.
Does anyone know if the extractor is the same as an 1100?
Or any other model of Remington shotgun?
The whole bolt isn't interchangeable, I did figure that out.

If memory serves me correct the 58 , 870 and 1100 , 11-87 use the same extractor .

That was me you got the 58 from...
I know the trigger group interchanges, as well as the stock etc.
Numrich extractor part for 58 is 325410G, part for 1100 is 325410A. I would bet they are close enough to try, maybe a bit of fitting needed.
I would also take a look at an 870 extractor...325410C, and 11-87.

Best of luck.
Bruce

Default Extractor Update

Thought I would update those interested in my search for a replacement extractor. Action Guns in Vancouver have a stock of the newer model extractors but they are to wide for the old Remington's. I did find one that fit at Brownell's. It is an aftermarket one manufactured by VOLQUARTSEN and it is called an REMINGTON 870/1100 EXACT EDGE EXTRACTOR. No problem getting it shipped to Calgary just a bit pricey as everything is in USA $.

Glad that worked out for you and good to know where you found parts.
