The Woodleigh bullet plant has burnt down and at this time there are no plans to rebuild.

I don't know how business insurance works, but typically if your house is insured and it burns down, you need to rebuild to get the maximum payout.
Obviously, the intent is to discourage people from burning down a house that they cannot sell........

Depends how you insurance is worded, if you get 75% of the value if you don't rebuild but you have your inventory and equipment valuations overstated and insured at 35 - 40 % above actual value then you take the cash and it's a walk. If your insurer doesn't send in an independent auditor annually to do an inventory valuation then it's really easy to do.
