Yeap I had this photo sent to me last week as well. Different hunter who I recognized was holding this deer. Apparently shot south of Vermilion.

If that deer was shot in or close to Vermillion I personally wouldnt be impressed. Looks like the son of an outfitter from Vermillion whos "fair chase" tactics are questionable...

I hunted with them and it was the worst experience I ever had. Im from NY and that was the main reason I joined this forum was to get some knowledge on this outfitter.

It is a nice buck but the guy holding the deer up has his arm fully extended making the buck look bigger and him look smaller. Creative photography.
The third picture in this recent thread looks like the biggest.

A fellow I know shot a 193 this November with a bow. Looks bigger too.

That's Logan Hunter and his dad is Rod Hunter. They use planes!!! ( probably why there's a hole in the back its head ) I almost caught them in the act a few yrs ago....I got the plane number but as soon as the trucks saw me they vacated faster than I could drive. And the reasoning is because I needed a license plate # to ID both units as working together. ( color and make isn't good enough ) And the picture should be deleted because that behaviour shouldn't be worshipped. Even if they finally took an animal legally....but I doubt it!

If you look close enough at Helgi's deer you can still see the hole in the ear from the tag it had at the game farm. Haha joking. The Eymundson buck is a monster. That will be a hard buck to beat.

All their hunters are repeat customers who I witnessed doing vile crap in pursuit of big whitetails. My brother got me the hunt I went on through Safari Club. I did everything right, called the outfitter to get info for the hunt, etc. Worst nightmare of my life.
The plane story is funny because they crashed a plane, probably doing what you said. Absolutely no respect for the deer.

Nice buck, but not the biggest from alberta this year. I know of one that is 220+ non typical. I definitely wouldn't turn him down given the chance.
