CAPES Please!!

Hello folks.

I want to learn more about caping big game animals. I figure the way to do that is to cape out a bunch to get better at it.

If anyone in the Calgary area is fortunate enough to get an animal that they DO NOT WANT MOUNTED... please let me know. I will come and get it if I can. Bucks or does. I don't care. I just need to get better at splitting and turning ears, lips and eyes and such.

We had four animals in my garage over the weekend that we would have been happy to hand over. Plan is to harvest a few more in the upcoming month. What exactly are you looking for? Animal skinned and beheaded?

That'll do just fine. I want to practice taking the skin from the skull. Then turning ears, eyes, lips and nose.

You can do my whitetail. Can I have the skull etc after? I'll boil it for a European mount. I'm headed down south in a couple of days.

I was unfortunate and did not fill my tags this year. Either not finding my desired animal, choosing not to shoot, or - now - having run out of time, I am unable to provide you with a head. If you need one next year, I will try and help you then.
