You can damn sure bet they would not leave that fire unattended.
For as hard as they work they deserved a hot meal.
If you are ever expected to try to keep up with you would gain a new respect for what they endure.
You should finding a way to thank them and not focusing on little weiner fire.
It happens all time but they usually don't talk about it.
Yah they broke the rule, no harm done, now move along.
If I could find them I would buy them a beer.
Me too, those guys and gals get into real long hard days against a dragon, cheers lads, toast to you and what you do...hope you enjoy many more hot meals.

I know I am far from perfect and I'm sure no one on this forum is either.
I will not tolerate anyone that disrespects Fire Fighters, LEO or our AF members.
They made a mistake, yes, but if you believe that there was an actual risk of creating an uncontrolled fire than you are an idiot.
The only risk they took was backlash of social outcry from the ignorant public.
That threat turned out to become a reality.
I can only assume those that would prefer to see them crucified have never walked a mile in their shoes or drew their hourly pay.
I've always been optimistic that our society, at least here in the west, has a common sense of compassion and basic logic.
I guess I am too trusting.

Well said.

Laws are not, and never have been about common sense or about logic, many people receive tickets because of silly laws that protect no one, and that serve no real purpose. If a law doesn't make sense, then abolish the law, but as long as the law exists, everyone should obey that law. They violated the ban, they were fined, end of story.
